Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Strike Optics at strikeoptics.com ("the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Not investment advice

The valuations, verdicts, scores, screeners, options figures, and every other output are model estimates computed from public data. They can be wrong, stale, or incomplete. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary, and no client or advisory relationship is created by using the service. Investing involves risk, including loss of principal. Past performance, including simulated backtests, does not predict future results. Decisions you make with your money are yours alone; consult a licensed professional where appropriate.

Market data

Market and fundamentals data comes from third-party sources. It may be delayed, revised, or incorrect, and we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or availability. Data is provided for your personal use within the service and may not be scraped, redistributed, or resold.

Your account

• You must provide a working email address and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• During the private beta, access is by invitation and may be granted, limited, or withdrawn at our discretion.
• You must be at least 18 to create an account.

Plans and billing

• The free plan and the paid membership include the features described at the time you sign up or upgrade. Features may change as the product evolves.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Memberships renew automatically, monthly or yearly per the plan you chose, until cancelled.
• A membership may start with a free trial. A payment method is collected when the trial starts, and when the trial period ends the card on file is charged automatically and the membership continues, unless you cancel before the trial ends. Cancelling during the trial costs nothing. We send a reminder before the first charge. One trial per account.
• You can cancel any time from the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access continues to the end of the period already paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refunded pro rata.
• If a renewal payment fails, we may downgrade the account to the free plan after Stripe's retries are exhausted.
• Prices may change. Changes apply from the next renewal, and we will announce them in advance.

Acceptable use

• No automated scraping, bulk export, or resale of the service or its data.
• No attempts to probe, breach, or overload the service, or to access another person's account or data.
• No use of the service where it is prohibited by law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Your content and ours

Notes and records you save remain yours; you give us the license needed to store and display them back to you. The service itself, including its models, design, and content, belongs to us and is protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service, nothing more.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output is accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or trading losses, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing.

Termination

You can stop using the service or ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service or your access to it, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature survive termination (disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date, and continued use after a change means the updated terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington.
